Andrew sails Round Britain for The Ellen MacArthur Trust

Andrew has taken a four-month sabbatical from work at Hawkins, a forensic investigation company, and also his family who are in full support of his mission, to complete his fundraising adventure.

The Trust was invited to St Katharine’s Dock in London for Andrew’s departure on Tuesday night (13/05/08) along with his family, friends, work colleagues and sponsors.  It was a great evening that saw Andrew leaving along the Thames without a hitch.  The latest report was that he has been watching impressive thunderstorms off the south coast of the IOW!

You can support Andrews solo navigation round Britain by visiting his just giving page here and keep track of the latest reports on his journey here.  All at The Ellen MacArthur Trust wish him favourable winds and calm seas.
