The Ellen MacArthur Trust is looking for an Events Manager to work from mid-May to mid-August 2007 from our base in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
The successful candidate will join our team to help co-ordinate our activities for the JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race in June, and Skandia Cowes Week in August, for which we are the official charity.
This person will ideally have previous experience of event management, be self-motivated, organised and able to work unsupervised. Working hours will be from Monday to Friday, but some flexibility will be required during the JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race and Skandia Cowes Week. You should be computer literate (ability to use an Apple Mac is an advantage).
This will be a varied and rewarding position for someone who is sensitive to, and supportive of the Trust’s aims. This position could suit a university student looking to build his / her CV.
